RACK BAGS AND
Rack bags increase
the functionality and
carrying capacity of
any utility ATV, and
the Grizzly is no different. Ogio bags are
some of the trickiest,
ones on the market.
Available for front and
rear racks, a set of
these can carry an
amazing amount of
stuff. As with all Ogio
bags, quality and
durability are second
Beyond shocks, high-tech handlebars and mounts can dampen vibration
and impacts to the hands. Front and/or rear rack luggage greatly increase
peace of mind for your precious cargo, but be careful not to exceed rack
capacities or else handling can suffer.
A comfortable set of handlebars can personalize the feel of any quad. The
impact-absorbing flex system incorporated in the Fasst Company Flexx Bars can
soak up abusive impacts before they ever get to your wrists and forearms. Pivoting
3.5-inch Rox Risers are the easiest way to get a set of 1- and 1/8-inch race bars
on your 4X4.

Quad Boss do.
GRIZZLY 660 EXHAUST AND JET KIT
HMF’s Swamp-series exhaust uses
a 304 stainless steel, 5-inch-diameter
shell for more internal volume and
huge horsepower gains. The HMF
Swamp series keeps the sound level
within 1– 2 dB of stock, or you can get
the Swamp series XL with an unrestricted core for all-out performance
and a louder exhaust note. For long
rides or going near sound-sensitive
areas, we highly recommend the quieter standard model. HMF even has
model-specific snorkel kits that work
with the Swamp series exhaust if riding in the deep stuff is your thing. HMF
sells a complete Grizzly jet kit for $25
and even has options for including different air filters with your purchase.
GRIZZLY 700 FUEL MANAGER AND
The Patriot exhaust system is an
entry-level-priced exhaust with all the
features of the more expensive systems
on the market. Built entirely from 304
stainless steel, the Patriot performance
exhaust makes great horsepower on
the Grizzly and is designed to last.
At only $250 for a quality slip-on, the
Patriot is a performance bargain. Any
time you are adding a free-flowing
exhaust system to an EFI machine, you
will need a programmer to adjust fuel
flow to match the exhaust flow. Dobeck
has private-labeled EFI controllers for
many different exhaust companies,
or you can get their own TFI version
directly from www.dobeckperf
ormance.com. The $220 TFI functions
like a carburetor, taking knowledge and
experience that many already have and
converting it to a fuel-injection interface.
The TFI allows you to add fuel in different rpm ranges where needed to easily
tune for performance modifications. The
TFI can add fuel without upsetting the
stock fuel map.
Not only do most aftermarket exhausts make more
power, they reduce weight over the steel OEM
As great as OEM fuel-injection systems are, they’re
not designed to allow modifications to the intake
or exhaust tracts. TFI and V&H FuelPak offer economical fuel-management systems.
