The Honda 250R belongs to Brian Peterson, and the 450R is owned by Nathan Davis. Since they regularly ride together, they’ve
been constantly upgrading their machines to have the edge over the other. The boys also compete over which quad looks better.
Honda’s legendary TRX250R has won more races than any
other quad in history. It’s certainly a good thing to keep these
high-performance two-stroke machines in proper running
condition. This one is a 1986 model belonging to Seth Rose in
Iowa. He rebuilt the motor to be 265cc.
Suzuki is known as the first manufacturer to offer quads, but
some people forget that they did sell a few three-wheelers
before then. A fine example of that is this Suzuki 50 two-stroke trike, belonging to young Jenna Toomey in North
Carolina. She’s quite proud of her little yellow machine.
Bernard Wooden uses his 2008 Honda 400EX for trail riding
around Virginia, and he sometimes competes in the local
sand drags too. For now, his machine has a Motoworks
exhaust, but he plans to add a few more go-fast parts soon.
In the front is a 2006 Yamaha YFZ450, in the middle is a 2009
YFZ450R, and in the back is a 1997 Banshee. We assume
they belong to Troy Soza, whose name was on the e-mail. He
didn’t provide any other info. Come on, guys, texting is okay
in high school, but in the magazine world, we need real information in complete sentences.
