VISION X LIGHTS
In our latest challenges of racing a
full desert season in basically a stock
RZR XP 1000, we did have to install
some additional lighting for the
summer night races. We settled on
a 30-inch light bar and dual 5-inch
LED kit ($450) from Vision X. The $600
light bar mounted on the roof puts
light out a good 50 feet in front of
the stockers, so even at 80 mph we
could not outdrive the lights. The
smaller ones, called Light Cannons,
are installed low and up front and
covered with red diffusers and will
be used to see through the dust. We
have tested both and are ready to
race with the combo. Next issue we
will deliver the results, so stay tuned.
