500 XT is the most basic with no EPS
available. It does share dimensions
and capacities with the 700 model
of 600 pounds for the bed and 1500
pounds towing. The HDX 700 ($14,499
or $14,999 for camo) is physically and
visually much like the 500, but with
EPS and the larger single-cylinder
engine. While the 500 and 700 XT are
returning models, the $15,499 ($15,999
for Camo) HDX Crew 700 XT is all new
for 2017. It adds six-person versatility,

models have 10 inches of suspension
travel, but the two 700 models feature

31 additional inches of wheelbase.
The Prowler 500 is the least expensive Arctic Cat UTV at
$9499. It doesn’t have EPS, but it does have a liquid-cooled
engine, 2WD/4WD/diff-lock and 7. 5 inches of wheel travel.
The Prowler 700 XT EPS has a bigger engine than the 500, it
is 3 inches longer and it is over 4 inches wider. Plus, there are
cast wheels and a jump from 7. 5 to 10.0 inches of wheel travel.
Arctic Cat’s Prowler 1000 XT EPS is the most powerful
of the sport-utility UTVs it offers. The V-twin engine has
ample power and a proven record. The machine is very well
Where the Prowler 500 is a two-seat base model, the three-seat HDX 500 shares the same dimensions and 10 inches of
suspension travel with the 700. EPS is not available.
