THE FOUR AMIGOS
Heading out west to the wild frontier is part of this
country’s history. It was a natural calling for people back
in the olden days, and some guys still get that feeling
now. It happened to Scott Powell and his buddies here.
They loaded up their 4x4 quads and headed from their
homes in Pennsylvania to Moab, Utah. It was a 4000-mile
round trip, but they all had a great time riding the awesome trails there.
A VAST SEA OF SAND
When Honda made the first ATC90 back in 1969, this is
what it was designed for. A lightweight vehicle with big
fat tires was the only way to get across miles and miles
of sand dunes. Carving giant sand dunes became even
more fun when ATCs turned into quads with bigger and
faster motors. Here is Gary Williams, who always has a
good time when he heads over to the Buttercup Dunes
from his home in San Diego.
