Dasa Racing does all the motor work on Daryl’s YFZ450R.
The head is ported, new cams are dropped in, along with a
very high-compression 14:1 piston.
Daryl fabricated his own chromoly swingarm that is 2
inches shorter than stock. This setup saves weight and transfers power to the rear tires better.
A giant, sharp footpeg mounted to an aluminum Pro Peg
stud, then thin-wall aluminum nerf bars with thin netting
make up the rider protection. This is the lightest combo we
have ever seen.
Shortened PEP shocks mounted on steel lower A-arms are surrounded by an aluminum upper A-arm.
Daryl Rath has been racing and building pro-level race
components for decades. He is in an elite group of ATV-related business owners that still compete on a regular
basis. This season you can catch Daryl at Extreme Dirt Track
events, as well as in the Terracross series.
