Polaris announced another new
model for 2017—the General 4 1000
EPS four-seater. It offers the same
999cc engine as the two-seat General,
which produces 100 horsepower.
You can now take the whole family
aboard this machine with four comfortable bucket seats that offer a wide
base that keeps the riders secure.
It offers an all-new customizable
instrumentation dash, which is both
analog and digital. It comes stock
with integrated half doors, GBC Dirt
Commander tires, 4500-pound-rated
Polaris HD winch, and it can carry
up to 1,280 pounds of total payload.
It’s offered in Silver Pearl and retails
RANGER XP 1000 AND RANGER
CREW XP 1000 EPS MODELS
The new Ranger XP 1000 is now
the flagship UTV in Polaris’ workhorse lineup. It has a 999cc, 80-horse-
power, ProStar, twin-cylinder engine
that will handle any hard work you
throw at it. The bed of the Ranger XP
1000 can fit a full-size pallet inside
with 1000 pounds of weight on top
of that. It offers a three-mode throttle
control with Performance, Standard
and Work settings. The Performance
mode is full power, Standard mode
offers smooth and controllable throttle response and Work mode offers
precise throttle control for work conditions. The Ranger XP 1000 and the
Ranger Crew XP 1000 base models
are offered in the Sage Green color,
and they do not include electronic
power steering. The two-seat base
version retails at $13,999, while the
four-seat Crew base version retails
at $15,199. The Ranger XP 1000 EPS
and Ranger Crew XP 1000 models
are offered with the electronic power
steering and are offered in Sunset
Red, Nara Bronze, White Lightning
(two-seat) and Pursuit Camo (
four-seat Crew). The two-seat EPS models
retail at $15,999, and the four-seat
Crew models retail at $16,999.
The Ranger XP 1000 Hunter Edition
has some great accessories for the
hunter in your family. It offers Polaris
Pursuit Camo bodywork, Active
Decent Control for downhill situations, 4500-pound-rated Polaris HD
winch, Polaris Lock and Ride gun
scabbards, and Cut & Sew seats. This
model retails for $16,999.
The General 4 1000 EPS is another new model for 2017. It offers the same features
of the two-seat General 1000 EPS, but with more room to carry additional riders. It
comes standard with a 4500-pound Polaris HD winch, front bumper and GBC Dirt
Commander eight-ply tires. It retails for $20,999.
This four-seat Ranger Crew 570 4 EPS can haul your crew and gear. It offers a
44-horsepower ProStar engine, and it has On-Demand true all-wheel drive. It comes
in Titanium Metallic Red for $12,499.
The Ranger HVAC XP 1000 EPS model is all new for 2017. It’s the first gas-powered
UTV with an air-conditioning system. It also features a fully enclosed cab, a heater,
three-mode throttle control, windshield wiper, dome light and a rear-view mirror.
This model retails for $23,699.
