ENOUGH FOR THIS RIDER!
We spotted this cool quad at the
Snowshoe GNCC. It’s a TRX450R
frame with a TRX250R engine resting
inside. Mixing the modern chassis
and the two-stroke engine is always
a plus, especially since it’s so easy
to find TRX450R parts on the market.
Check out that custom exhaust that
was made for this machine!
THE COLORFUL CAN-AM
Mike Vancour loves his DS450,
and he recently put a lot of time and
money into it to get this end result.
We love all of the bright colors and
the go-fast parts on it. Mike’s DS450
features a FourWerx carbon fiber
hood, FourWerx seat cover, a Flexx
handlebar and his Fox Floats. This is
a killer-looking machine, and we bet
it is a blast to ride.
IS THAT A FACT, JACK?
They have an interesting helmet
law at the Jericho ATV Festival in
New Berlin, New Hampshire. Since
you are most likely reading this issue
before Halloween, we thought you’d
enjoy these costume high jinks.
RZR 170 CAGE
As unlikely a race vehicle as it
seems, there is a lot of interest in the
RZR 170 as a racer, so much so that
Cognito Motorsports has this race
roll cage under development for the
little machines. No word on price yet.
The Cognito Motorsports car
we tested on page 80 of this issue
had this trick axle holder added to
the cage. The spare sockets into a
welded-on mount on one side, then
is hose-clamped to a rest on the other
side. It occupies space that was not
utilized at all and puts the spare right
where it is needed.
