RALLY ON THE ROCKS
The fifth annual UTV-only rally
takes place in the heart of beautiful
Moab, Utah, a four-wheeler’s paradise. A long weekend of guided rides
will help you explore the vast area,
and since most trails are on solid rock,
dust is not an issue. Each night a slide
show of the day’s events takes place,
along with dinner, an ice-cream
social, a bonfire and raffles. Other
daily activities include a show-and-shine contest, extreme trail riding,
free demo ride and much more. Moab
is loaded with rental outfits, hotels,
and RV and camping areas, but get
your reservations in early. The event
headquarters is at the Old Spanish
Trail Arena, just minutes south of
Moab, Utah, on Hwy 191.
The High Lifter Mud Nationals are
held at Mud Creek Off-Road Park in
Jacksonville, Texas. Multiple competitive
events are held during the weekend,
with mud bogs, obstacle courses and an

HIGH LIFTER ATV MUD NATIONALS
For over a decade High Lifter has
been putting on the granddaddy of
all ATV festivals known as the Mud
Nationals. This five-day festival at
Mud Creek Off-Road Park includes
open trail-riding poker runs, a show-and-shine contest and several vendor
areas. Camping is available on-site,
or you can stay in a local motel in

Mud Bog, Endurance Challenge
and Obstacle Course. Don’t miss the
Outlaw BBQ Cook-Off, and the festivities are capped off with nighttime

WINDROCK PARK SPRING JAM
Oliver Springs, Tennessee
Windrock Park sits on 72,000 acres
and has over 300 miles of trails available for riders of all skill levels. The
jamboree kicks off with a Thursday-evening sunset ride for those who
arrive early. The rest of the weekend
activities include guided rides, an
ATV rodeo, drag racing, kids’ adventure, shooting area, vendors, demo
rides, bonfires and a cook-out.
The Windrock Wide Open race
(WWO) is back for 2016, which is an
open-cross-style race for ATVs or UTVs.
A favorite is the Windrock Challenge
Obstacle Course, which is opened up
prior to the competition just for the person who wants the challenge without
competing head to head.
Located within Windrock Park are
fully furnished two-story cabins that
sleep nine people, rustic one-room
cabins, RV sites with full hookups, and
primitive tent camping sites. There
are two bathhouses with hot showers
and two covered pavilions.
Directions: From Nashville, take
the Harriman/Rockwood exit and turn
right on Hwy 27/61. Follow Hwy 61 to
the first traffic light in Oliver Springs.
Go 200 yards, turn left onto Windrock
Road and travel . 6 miles to Windrock
Park Lane on the right or continue 2. 4
miles to Trail Head.

NW RAPTOR RALLY

The growing Raptor Rally may
very well be the largest gathering
of like-minded and vehicle-specific
riders in the county. We have been
getting photos from participants for
years and finally did a full feature on
the event in a recent issue. The Raptor
Rally has been put on by Raptor riders
for Raptor riders since 2007. However,
all machines are welcome. There is
