STILL GOING STRONG
READER’S RZR TURBO RIDE
For this month we go to Ohio and
look inside John Garrett’s garage. Here
we see his Polaris RZR Turbo that
has been highly accessorized. For the
motor, he added an HMF exhaust with
an ECU re-flash, upgraded radiator and
intercooler, oil cooler, and clutch kit. He
had high-speed damping added to the
shocks, along with upgraded springs,
high-clearance A-arms and radius rods.
Other accessories include six-point seat
belts, heated seats, a roof, door inserts,
mirrors, bumpers, spare-tire mount,
rock sliders, skid plate, Lawrence GPS,
backup camera, LED headlights, light
bars, fire extinguisher and graphics kit.

OVER THE BARS
Suzuki’s Hayabusa GSX1300R
has had a reputation of being the
world’s fastest production motorcycle.
That’s why Dirt Wheels reader Roger
Schneider thought it’d be the perfect
engine to put in his old Bombardier
DS650. This quad was designed with
stretched-out dimensions for larger
riders, which is why it’s a favorite project machine for installing big motors.
As you can see, Roger was able to get
it to fit in the DS chassis with a few
modifications. He even bored it out to
1400cc to make more horsepower. We
can’t imagine too many machines that
would beat Roger’s “Bombabusa” to
the top of a sand dune.
