We spotted this “Banshee”
changing hands at a gas station in
California. The new owner looked
pretty excited to have a Suzuki
GSXR1100 motor to throw sand with.
It looks pretty fun to us, but that head-
er looks like it would be a little toasty.
HOORAY FOR OPENING DAY!
There were many eager riders
who showed up for the first day of
the 2016 riding season at Perry State
Forest in New Lexington, Ohio. Chad
Holt had a great morning ride with
100 buddies, and then they all found
a pleasant surprise when they came
back for lunch. Outback Steakhouse
treated everyone to grilled steaks
and all the trimmings. Doug Ellis
and Luke Cremean get the credit
for organizing the whole thing. They
most certainly get a thumbs up from
the Dirt Wheels crew.
LET’S ALL WELCOME A NEW
MEMBER TO THE CLUB
It’s a big day when you finally
graduate from a toy electric quad to
a real gas-powered machine. Here
is Bryson Legassie up in Maine taking his first ride on his new (to him)
Honda TRX70. The Dirt Wheels crew
is glad to have him as a new reader.
MAKING A COMEBACK!
This past spring a large group
of riders made their way to Anza,
California, for the 3-Wheeler
Nationals at Cahuilla Creek MX
Park. Dwight Jeckel came all the way
from Raleigh, North Carolina, to take
part in all the fun. Here he is on his
Honda ATC winning his class. It was
built by Selvy BDT Motorsports in
Ontario, California, who have been
building the fastest-racing three-wheelers since the 1980s.
