even Banshee kits. If you are looking
to build a modern quad or restore a
classic, Lonestar Racing is probably
where you want to start.
While the entire business is seeing
growth, it’s the UTV side of things
that is really booming. LSR offers two
suspension kits for the Polaris RZR XP
1000. One kit is a stronger replacement kit, and the other will widen
the machine 3. 5 inches on each side.
Both kits run the stock-length shocks.
Even though you can use the stock
Walker Evans shocks on either LSR
suspension, most kits leave the door
paired up with new Fox suspension.
Owner Dan Fisher tells us a grow-
ing part of the UTV sales has been
complete builds. Almost constantly,
LSR is taking brand-new RZRs and
welding in a new cage, adding a trick
under-seat fuel cell, spare tire carrier,
dash and body panels for around
$8000. This is the very same setup
owner Dan Fisher competes with in
the Best in the Desert off-road series.
So now going into their third
decade in the ATV/UTV business, you
can still expect to see quality, relevant
components and complete machines
being offered up by Lonestar Racing.
