SAND SHOW
HARD HUT
We consider most sport utility UTVs
great camping, hunting and exploring vehicles. We use them for fun
just as much as we do the high-performance machines. Models like the
new Kawasaki Mule, Teryx4, Ranger
Crew and Viking 6 are perfect models to carry a product such as the
rooftop tent. Starting at about $2500,
the Hard Hut is made of fiberglass,
clamps on in minutes, and it only
weighs 75 pounds and offers a perfect place for two full-sized adults to
sleep off the ground and out of the
elements. We are dreaming up our
next summer trip now to test out the
Hard Hut. Contact (714) 650-7441.
KC DAYLIGHTERS
KC has been in the off-road lighting business longer than most of
us have been alive. They are staying ahead of the times with a new,
expandable, LED light bar system
called Flex LED that you can basically build yourself to fit any-size mount
or need. They also developed a cool
little LED light called the Cyclone
that can be used as a dome light or
mounted as an engine work light.

WASH- 15 WHIP MOUNT
When in the dunes it is required
to have a flag/whip, Wash- 15 has
a perfect mount to help you out. If
you’ve ever rolled your ATV or UTV
in the dunes, the first thing to break
is your flag/whip, but with the Wash-
15 mount, you can easily remount
your whip in seconds with no tools
required. They come in a variety of
colors, such as anodized red, blue,
black, silver, green, pink, and gold.
They retail for $29.99 for ATVs and
$34.99 for SxS’. Check out www.wash
15offroad.com or call (949) 285-6315
SMARTPHONE LIGHT BAR
There are plenty of light bars on
display at the Sand Sports Super
Show, but none of them were as
unique as the smartphone-operated
light bar at the Vision X booth. The
technology makes its introduction
on their high-end-style lights, but is
expected to make its way down the
line in the future. The great thing
is the feature doesn’t add dramatically to the price. The Borg technology allows users to control on and
off, blinking and dimmer features of
the light even standing several feet
away. Check out www.visionxusa
.com for more details soon.
At this year’s Sand Sports Super Show,
we raffled off a set of Raceline Mamba
wheels for a Polaris RZR and a Barker’s
exhaust system for a Can-Am or Polaris
RZR depending on the winner’s vehicle.
The winner for the Raceline Mamba
wheels was Jim Kessler. Jim doesn’t
own a RZR just yet, but says this will
speed up the buying process. ❏
