winter months, from October to
March. For 15 years, the official preseason kick-off event has been the
Sand Sports Super Show, which
took place in Costa Mesa,
California, at the Orange County
Fairgrounds in September.
The event is open to the public
and full of vendors displaying and
selling their latest products geared
directly toward the dedicated duner.
You can visit builders of quarter-mil-lion-dollar sand trucks and supercharged buggies, the RV storage
yards or off-road insurance sales-men. In the middle of all that, one
thing that stood out is there was
