The 2017 edition of the Camp RZR
West happened on October 27 and
28, and now seems tied to Halloween,
even though the original was held
between Christmas and New Year’s.
Official attendance was something over
21,000 people! In other words, if you
waited until the 27th to find a camping
spot, you wouldn’t find much. We went
down Thursday, and we were able to find
a spot on good dirt near pavement and
bathrooms, but we were 13 miles from the
festivities if we went the easy way!
The actual Camp RZR was a large
fenced-in area with displays of machines
and products, food vendors, play areas
for kids and, of course, plenty of areas to
sign up to win free stuff. The pinnacle of
The Camp RZR
packed for the
giveaway and karaoke. Giving away
10 new RZRs will
bring a crowd!
“free stuff” was a 10-RZR giveaway!
Instead of having a headliner
concert this year, a live band
worked with karaoke singers that
had been pre-qualified by video.
The karaoke winner earned a RZR.
Every single person that signed in
got something, with a Camp RZR
flag being the door prize.
