ALL-NEW 708CC MOTOR IN
Yamaha introduced their new
lineup of machines for 2016, and
we were excited to find out that the
new Grizzly 700 and Kodiak 700
come with the same motor that their
newest UTV, the Wolverine R-Spec
700, carries in its frame. It is a 708cc,
DOHC, single-cylinder engine
that is liquid-cooled. This means
more power and torque!
Check out even more
new models from
Yamaha on page 30.
MORE PROJECT MACHINES
Just like our readers, we get excited to see awesome project ATVs/
UTVs, like this monster mud machine
found at this year’s High Lifter Mud
Nationals. We always have an itch to
see even more of the creations you
come up with, so drop us some photos and a description of what parts
and modifications you have done to
your toy. It could end up on our website, www.dirtwheelsmag.com, or in
the “Reader’s Ride” articles, and possibly a full feature in the magazine!
Don’t forget to include your name
and where you are from in the message. Send as much info on it as possible to firstname.lastname@example.org.
A PROUD MAN WITH HIS FLEET OF
Gary Brown in New York developed a fondness for the Bombardier
DS650 that came out back in 1999.
Whenever he saw one that needed
fixing up, he couldn’t resist buying it
and doing the work. In the process,
Keith ended up with the five DS650s
you see here. You’ll notice that there
are four KFX700s at the end of the
line. He and his wife Patricia are
also fond of the big Kawasaki V-twin
sport quad, so they had to have
some of them as well. We can see
why they’d be proud of their stable of
fine machinery. For their enthusiasm,
we’ll crown Gary and Patricia as our
Dirt Wheels readers of the month.
Send us photos and info of your ATV
fleet and maybe you’ll get that title
next month. Our e-mail address is
