PILOT & COPILOT
When Josh and Jennifer Alldredge
want to really have some fun, they
load up their Polaris RZR 1000 and
head to the Coral Pink Sand Dunes
near Kanab, Utah. The unique color
provides a soothing effect when
you’re roosting up and down the
dunes and carving the sandy trails.
The sand gets its pinkish hue from
the wind erosion on the surrounding
mountains of red Navajo sandstone.
DIRT WHEELS READERS IN CHILE
This is where the world’s driest
desert meets the Pacific Ocean in
Chile. Riding a quad is really the
only way to get there, and you need
to bring plenty of water, because the
area only gets 4 inches of rain every
thousand years. Jorge Hermosilla’s
friend and dad here are glad
that they can still buy brand-new
Banshees in their country.
