With a push of a steering-wheel-mounted button, Jason has a 40-horsepower shot
of nitrous that helps the Maverick produce over 200 horsepower at the crank.
A nitrous bottle pressure gauge was mounted into the dash of the Maverick, along
with turbo boost gauge from Jegs Racing.
Jason built the Midwest Maverick to race anything from the woods to the desert,
so installing rock sliders that also protect the machine from trees getting lodged
between the wheels was the right choice.
Midwest strengthened up the stock
roll cage of the Maverick so it is more
protective. They also added a spot for a
39-inch LED light bar.
